Peace Lily — 6" Pot (Spathiphyllum wallisii)

The Peace Lily is a classic for good reason — glossy dark green foliage and elegant white spathes that appear throughout the year, especially in bright conditions. Spathiphyllum wallisii is the compact species, staying more manageable than its larger relatives.

Beyond its beauty, this plant is a noted air purifier, and it's one of the few flowering houseplants that does well in lower light. It will tell you when it's thirsty — the leaves droop dramatically — and perks right back up after watering.

Light: Low to medium indirect. Blooms more in brighter light.
Water: When the top inch of soil is dry, or when leaves begin to droop.
