Monstera deliciosa — 6" Pot (Swiss Cheese Plant)

The Monstera deliciosa needs little introduction — its large, fenestrated leaves are one of the most recognizable silhouettes in the plant world. Native to the tropical forests of Central America, it grows as a climbing epiphyte, using aerial roots to anchor itself to trees.

Young plants start with solid, heart-shaped leaves. As the plant matures and gets adequate light, new leaves develop the signature splits and holes (fenestrations) that make it so distinctive.

Light: Medium to bright indirect. More light encourages fenestration.
Water: When the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry.
